Waste Management
 
Central Coast Skips Australia’s Recycle plant is located at Industrial Estate 192 Wisemans Ferry Road, Somersby NSW 2250. The Recycle plant is set on over 3 acres of land. On site we are able to handle discarded building materials from commercial and industrial sites, and general waste from residential sites.
 
All rubbish sorting is undercover in our Factory units 3 and 4, with appropriate handing equipment including; Bobcat, Escavator, Loaders, Conveyers, Forklifts and a Screening sorting plant.
 
Central Coast Skips Australia is periodically inspected by local authorities and Workcover to assess asbestos handling facility and handling procedures are to specification.
 
The aim of our recycle plant is to sort all bins which are removed from site. We send all Timber for resale.  Steel and reinforcements are sent to One Steel recyclers. Green waste is shredded. Chipping is used for landscape supplies. Cardboard, paper, bottles, lass, plastics are delivered to the local recycling company. Gyprock processed for farm use (lymgypsum). Bricks and concrete processed for aggregates. Approximately 10% is sent for landfill.
